This is very well written and your points are well-expressed. Please, don’t ever stop writing. Bike Tyres Online
Jack Johnnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933608625883364901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9200593610984055070.post-420966963426421282011-03-22T21:04:01.517-07:002011-03-22T21:04:01.517-07:00Hooray, Carmen. When the weather is good, it's hard to beat a bike for really experiencing the country, and it is especially fun sharing the experience with a friend. As you noted, this trip could be done for considerably less money if you camped, and then you could use that money to buy a touring bike, panniers, and some first rate camping gear. Life is much easier on the road if you have the right equipment, and if you buy a bike of good quality, it can conceivably last you your whole life. I bought my touring bike 30 years ago and it is still going strong. Whether you ride again or not--congratulations! You did something not everybody would do, and you should be proud of the accomplishment.

Best, DonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9200593610984055070.post-55684672955778272822011-03-21T17:16:42.295-07:002011-03-21T17:16:42.295-07:00Fantastic.
My compliments.

Nor I
stayed in hotels, but in my tent and in Salvation Army places. hahaha.
Of course, it was much better for you to stay in hotels, and not carrying a
tent, which would have made the trip much more difficult.
I am a little surprised that you did it alone. I would say that it is kind
of risky for a young woman to go by herself through so many hours in
isolated roads. But I am very happy that everything came out perfect.
I think it would have been easier to do it with a road bike, like mine, much
lighter and faster. But of course, the road bikes, with thinner tires, are
more prone to flats.

I must say that I admire once again your determination.

Love you
Dadfrankalvahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17325153435756224988noreply@blogger.com
